The casino, which has MySpace’s former president Tom Anderson on its advisory board, has launched a Facebook app.
RocketFrog has launched a Facebook app which enables players to win real-world prizes and compete against friends.
RocketFrog has welcomed MySpace co-founder Tom Anderson to its advisory board, while celebrity poker player Brody Jenner has joined as a company investor.
Rocketfrog stands out from the crowd by awarding real-world prizes like movie tickets, food, music and discount vouchers, in partnership with advertisers. “The entire game experience is branded by the daily advertiser, while users can play for real-world prizes,” said Anderson.
On the app, players can see current games, issue challenges, track winnings, share achievements, earn loyalty rewards, and learn from tutorials.
RocketFrog co-founder Brett Calapp said, “There’s no better place to hold social tournaments than Facebook- it’s where your friends are online. Who doesn’t like beating their friends and winning a prize?”
