The Intertain Group has announced its relocation to the United Kingdom and will undergo rebranding as Jackpotjoy. The company’s home base is Toronto, Canada, but London will offer many more opportunities for its growth. Intertain is in the process of relocating its corporate headquarters to London. As soon as the relocation is complete, the company will complete the rebranding process.
Jackpotjoy, Intertain’s new name, comes from the company’s popular online bingo brand. The bingo brand was acquired in 2015 from Gamesys. Intertain is undergoing this relocation and rebranding as part of a UK Strategic Initiative plan and is hopeful that the change will help them secure their name on the prestigious London Stock Exchange. Most of INtertain’s business comes from the UK, which leads the company to believe that the analysists in the United Kingdom will be more inclined to raise their share price.
Shareholders for Intertain will be able to vote at September 23rds annual general company meeting. If all goes according to plan and the majority of votes at the meeting are in favor of breaking out the U-Hauls, the company is confident that it will be able to secure a spot on the London Stock Exchange before the end of October.
In addition to these changes, Intertain is also searching for a new CFO to join the team in place of Keith Laslop, current CEO. This will prove to be no easy feat as the company has yet to find a candidate who fits the position as well as Keith Laslop.
